Nursing Manager of Case Management

Location: Austin, TX

Salary/Pay Rate: up to $130,000 (Relocation Bonus Offered)

Schedule: Day Shift (Rotating Weekends)

Unit/Specialty: 22 RN Case Managers with a Social Worker as Team Lead

This role is with a leading healthcare provider that is committed to providing high-quality patient care. The facility is located in Austin, Texas, a vibrant city with a thriving arts and culture scene.1 Austin is also home to many parks and recreation areas, as well as a variety of restaurants and shops.2

Job Description:

The Nursing Manager of Case Management is responsible for promoting patient-centered care by coordinating all aspects of hospital-based case management for his/her assigned area of responsibility.3 The Manager is also responsible for the overall day-to-day oversight and management of the case management program, including coordination, supervision, and administrative oversight of the case management team.

Required Skills:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical nursing case management
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state of Texas

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • InterQual experience
  • Certification in Case Management
  • Certification in InterQual or IQCI
